With the increase in fuel costs over recent years having a major impact upon company expenditure the Chamber has been looking at ways in which we can help.

With no tie-in contract and no monthly fee the fixed-price fuel cards give you the ability to monitor and control fuel charges with preferential fuel pricing typically giving diesel at 3-4p per litre cheaper than the UK average on fixed price networks across a 12 month period.

A fuel card works like a credit card. An account will be held with The Fuelcard Company who will provide weekly invoices and payment will be taken weekly, by direct debit. Each card is on a ‘network’ of garages, which means it’s accepted at specific brands across the UK.

This service gives access to eight different fuel cards, which can be combined to cater to your fuel requirements, covering over 4,000 sites, diesel and petrol, and you can use the cards as much or as little as you want.  With one HMRC approved VAT invoice for all transactions this service is designed to save you money, give you choice and allow you to control and monitor fuel costs on a month by month basis. The cards come with an interest free credit facility (subject to status) with flexible payment terms to help keep more money in your bank
