Business Russian for Beginners - 10 September

Communicate better with your overseas customers

Delivered by a quality assured language trainer at the Barcelo Hotel, Hinckley, this beginners' course is designed to introduce you to the basics of business Russian.

You will expand your language and cultural skills with expert tuition, leaving you confident enough to use what you have learnt when you communicate with customers and business partners.

During the day delegates will learn:

Introduction to Russian alphabet, spelling and phonetics; practice of pronunciation and recognising letters
Greeting:
- formal and informal;
- addressing people, Mr, Sir, Comrade or…?
Useful basic rules of Russian grammar

The importance of the first impression, introducing yourself
Arriving at:
- the airport, recognising signs, am I lost?
- the hotel; questions and answers I need to know;
 I would like to tell and ask you about:
- my family
- my job
How much is it? Money and numbers
People and culture
Russian food:
- what to expect for breakfast?
- ordering food;
- meals and drinks in and out;
Transport
What date is it today?
- days of the week;
- months;
- time;
Phone conversation
 


There will also be an ongoing emphasis on the customs and culture that go around conducting business in Russia in all of the above areas.

How to register
At just £30 (+VAT) per delegate, these workshops are great introductions for any company developing their business in Russia.

A maximum of 2 people per company may attend each course. Those companies who are participating in either Passport to Export or Gateway to Global Growth are eligible to attend 2 courses free of charge.If you have more than 2 members of staff who would be interested in benefiting from this training, please contact us to discuss your requirements.
